Turnover increased by 13.5% for GFI Informatique in the third quarter of 2006, with organic growth of 8.6%.

Comments on activity
France
Turnover grew by 18.7% in France in the third quarter, corresponding to organic growth of 5.9% in the quarter and of 5.4% for the first nine months of the year.
Our French activities continued to record significant commercial successes thanks to our packaged offers.
International
Our Italian subsidiary obtained some significant contracts in the energy sector, enabling it to post organic growth in turnover of 13% for the third quarter. This confirmed the effectiveness of our commercial investments and the quality of the company's new management.
The Spanish, Portuguese, German, Canadian and Moroccan subsidiaries continued to post excellent performances with organic growth of more than 20% in the first nine months in Spain, Germany and Morocco. Our recent Spanish acquisitions (biometrics and hospital software) confirmed their strong performances.
Thanks to the acquisition of Adelior, our Belgian and Luxembourg businesses have achieved critical mass and recovered their business momentum.
Group transformation
GFI Informatique has reinforced its organisation by business line, notably by:
- developing its offshore service centres in Spain, Portugal and Morocco and its regional service centres in France;
- grouping all its production and outsourcing activities under GFI Infrastructure et Production, which now has more than 1,000 employees following the acquisition of Actif;
- creating GFI Monétic, which will group all GFI's global activities and offers in this field and will become a strong skill centre capable of handling the accelerated growth of these activities.
- continuing to invest in its strategic offer.
Acquisition of Elios
GFI Informatique has finalised the acquisition of Elios, a company specialising in technical solutions for telecom networks. This company employs 83 people and is profitable with turnover of around €6 million. This company was initially a France Telecom spin-off. This acquisition is part of GFI Informatique's strategy of targeted acquisitions in fields offering high added value.
Headcount
At the end of September, the group employed 8,360 people, of whom 4,871 in France. The headcount continues to grow, notably in Spain and in the West and North of France.
Outlook
Management remains confident in its ability to continue to achieve organic growth and is maintaining its annual targets.
Financial communications calendar
GFI Informatique will publish Q4 2006 turnover after close of market on 8 February 2007.
